	Dr. Jill Fajardo attended Stanford University, where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts and Science in Biology and Asian American Studies. She then attended University of California, Berkeley – School of Optometry to complete her Doctor of Optometry degree. This was followed by a Primary Care Optometry and Low Vision Rehabilitation residency in the VA Palo Alto Health Care System.

	Dr. Fajardo has participated in research projects at Devers Eye Institute and the UC Berkeley School of Optometry, and has published a journal article in Optometry and Vision Science. She has also presented multiple posters at the American Academy of Optometry’s Annual Meeting, and has contributed to the education of teachers of the visually impaired by serving as a lecturer at San Francisco State University. Dr. Fajardo enjoys serving her community, and has volunteered for school vision screenings and health fairs. She has participated in a volunteer clinic in San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua through Volunteer Optometric Services for Humanity (VOSH).
